Dear Friends,
My name is Victor Ray. As a resident living in the 12th District, I recently announced my intention to become the next Alderman for the people living in our district. I’m looking forward to meeting each of you as we move closer to the 2008 election. But until then, I’d like to welcome you to my Web site and invite you to get to know me.
But first, I’d like to tell you why I’m running for Alderman in our district. I believe its time for a change in our neighborhoods. The community we live in is diverse and full of great potential. Whether it’s Cesar Chavez, National Ave, 2nd Street, Greenfield or Mitchell Street, I believe it’s time to erase crime, drugs, and vagrancy. And together, I know we can take back our streets and make them safe for our children.
That’s why I’m asking you to please bookmark this Web site and check back throughout the campaign to see what we have planned…and what we’ve accomplished. This campaign is not about me. It’s about us. It’s about being part of a community that works together for change. If you like what you see, I hope you’ll stand with me so we can work together.
